Testimonials

The statements below have been faithfully reproduced to attest to the veracity of the statements made within the above documentation. They include testimonials provided direct to SAE Inc., which, is the manufacturer of Conducrete® and is a partner enterprise of the FM Sudafix Group.

“John Maher (FM Sudafix Group) has revolutionised the way we approach earthing and lightning protection systems throughout the Gambia. He has demonstrated how our previous methods wasted a significant amount of material and fiscal resource and therefore required considerable updating to comply with standards. We are confident that John’s work in the Gambia will protect the communications infrastructure of the country for many years. It is a great pleasure to work with him and a great comfort to know that his knowledge is always available.”

Abdoulie Bass Director of Power and Environment, Gamtel

"This is an acknowledgement of the outstanding performance of SAE (Conducrete®) in providing the new Quiet Ground System for the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD., USA. The system was ahead of schedule substantially exceeded the performance specifications and resulted in the largest percentage cost savings of any contract during the fiscal year!"

Edward F. Dyer, Principal Engineer, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center

“We had to achieve an earthing arrangement of 10Ω for a lightning protection earthing system and the ground was made up of layers of chalk. After discussions with FM Sudafix we determined that each block could be created with 10 bags of Conducrete®. The system achieved the specification, the client was happy and so was my installation team. Conducrete® is now our first choice for any backfill aggregate.”

Bernard Robinson Managing Director, UK Earthing Services and WA Lightning Protection Installations, Australia

"We incorporated SAE (Conducrete®) grounding techniques at all of our locations with great success. I am a believer in this intriguing principle and highly recommend SAE and its grounding concept."

David Herron General Manager, West Carolina Rural Telephone Cooperative

"Following field testing research, Bell Canada standardized on SAE (Conducrete®) grounding products... Bell has commissioned approximately 400 SAE (Conducrete®) grounding systems, improving ground potential for Access Remote Electronic installations. In addition, SAE (Conducrete®) systems were used to ground Bell's national fibre optics route across Canada."

Al Sproule Manager, Access Network Solutions, Bell Canada

“Conducrete® is changing the face of earthing systems in the Middle East. Due to the versatility of the product we are finding numerous new and exciting methods to exploit its performance attributes. With new technical solutions created with the FM Sudafix technical team for power generation and distribution, for earthing in marine environments, and to reduce the very real threat of thieves stealing earthing system components we could not be happier with the performance of the product or FM Sudafix. In Dubai, our domestic power operator is DEWA and they approached us due to a problem with their existing substation earthing systems. Their problem was that they were unable to determine the damage caused by salt migration into the surrounding ground mass to the earth system. FM Sudafix created a Conducrete® solution that not only protects the earthing system but enables them to test and monitor its performance without disconnection of the electrical supply to their customer. In a way FM Sudafix is keeping the lights on in Dubai.”

Roy Hetherington Manager, Ducab Connect

"The final circuit resistance of the well was less than one ohm, which was within our desired range. And more importantly, because of the ability of the Conducrete to seal off various aquifers, the Conducrete was, ultimately, the most suitable backfill material for the location where we installed the well, which was drilled through some known subsurface contamination. The bottom line is that the Conducrete, as stated above, made this cathodic protection well installation possible in an area where there were known subsurface contaminants where no other backfill product would have been suitable for sealing the well..."

Steve Wahrenbrock Chevron Pipe Line Company

“I have worked with JMI and FM Sudafix for years over a number of different contracts and I am pleased to say that they have never let me down. Whether I urgently needed materials on site, or prompt technical support, they have always been a great safety net and I am confident that I will be working with them on projects for many years to
come.”

Shaun Boult Project Manager, VolkerRail

"In the past lightning strikes have caused costly damage of electronic equipment. The cost savings associated with uninterrupted production has more than paid for the SAE (Conducrete®) grounding system. SAE grounding systems make good business sense."
